Do red cars cost more to insure?

You may have heard the myth that red cars cost more to insure, often with varying reasons why. The truth is, the color of your car has nothing to do with your premium. Insurance companies are more interested in your vehicle’s make, model, age, safety features, and your driving history. What’s not a myth, though — is that people really can save a ton of money by switching insurers. Check out Money’s car insurance tool to see if you could, too.

One battle after another
According to a new survey from USA Today, 43% of women say they are burned out or emotionally exhausted. It also revealed that women are more likely than men to say the pressure of doing it all and meeting expectations is a challenge.

Therapist Ivorie Mayes speculates this is because women don't feel like they can ask for help: "They want someone to know what to do. It's not OK for men to say, 'Just tell me what to do.'"

But wait right there! A separate survey sponsored by Hims looked at over 1,000 dads over the age of 30, and 54% of them said they experience stress or fatigue on a regular basis.

The good news for men? There seems to be a possible solution: testosterone.

If you're a mom or dad feeling stressed, read this for tips on how to manage it.

At first glance, this question seems simple. Why wouldn't you take the extra $120k a year? But for parents, this question is a little more complicated. It sparked a major debate on TikTok, with some parents saying they'd take the remote option because every minute counts as a parent. Read the hot takes here.

One-Pot Creamy Tortellini Soup (the dinner that saves a weeknight)
This is the kind of dinner that comes together while you’re still deciding whether it’s too late to start cooking. It’s warm, filling, and forgiving — the kind of meal that makes a busy weeknight feel handled.

It all comes together in one pot, which is why I almost always make it in my Dutch oven (speaking of, this is the one I reach for over and over again. I love them so much, I actually have two.)

Ingredients
• 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
• 1 small onion, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
• 1 can (14–15 oz) diced tomatoes
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
• Black pepper
• 1 package refrigerated cheese tortellini
• 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
• 2 cups baby spinach (optional but recommended)
• Optional add-ins: cooked sausage, rotisserie chicken, white beans

Instructions
a. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
b. Add onion and cook 4–5 minutes until soft. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
c. Add broth, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
d. Stir in tortellini and cook according to package directions (usually 3–5 minutes).
e. Lower heat and stir in cream. Add spinach and let it wilt.
f. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.

Quick Tip: If you’re adding sausage or chicken, stir it in right before the cream so it warms through without overcooking. This soup is forgiving — a trait I deeply value in both food and parenting.
